Small Businesses and Social Media

I found this to be an interesting video, though I don't agree with the speaker's comments 100%. For small businesses, I believe Facebook, Youtube and blogs are more key for small businesses, though it certainly depends on your business' industry.

FYR the Search Engine Strategies Conference is the key industry event for professionals in the online search marketing industry. I've attended SES conferences in Chicago and Singapore; the original SES takes place in San Jose.

"Anytime you're getting into social media and you're that small business that's relying on your personality instead of your brand recognition, it's good to go to the places where you can play that up."
